When remote chats turn into real adventures
As a remote-first team, most of our collaboration happens online. But every now and then, the stars align and things fall into place in ways you could never plan. September was one of those rare months where digital chats turned into real-life conversations.
It started with a casual “Hey, I’ll be in Europe, should I drop by Berlin?” that quickly turned into a mini offsite. Almost everyone made it (next time, Frances and Bertrand!), and for some of us, it was the very first time meeting in person. Just days later, Cornerstone Connect Live 2025 Stockholm took place, and our client Kairit from OlyBet invited us to join her on stage. Since we were already gathered in Europe, including a long flight in from Australia, we did not have to think twice.
That one week brought it all together: meeting clients face to face, connecting with the Cornerstone community in the Nordics, and sharing the work we have been so passionate about. It was the perfect reminder that while remote work gives us freedom, nothing compares to the spark of being in the same room.
We also marked a milestone inside our own team. Anna stepped into the role of Chief Design Officer, ready to push our projects even further.

One day in Stockholm brought it all together. Clients, community, and collaboration on stage. It is not every day that a client asks you to join them on stage.
