In April 2024, Octily and talessio co-hosted a transformative Offsite in Amsterdam, where creativity met strategy under the theme “The Best of Both Worlds”. This event was a defining moment, as our two teams united to explore how the power of Cornerstone OnDemand implementation and customization can be maximized together. But the event wasn’t just about us – it was an open invitation to other Cornerstone OnDemand implementation partners to join us in creating exceptional results for clients across the globe. A New Chapter of Collaboration: Creativity Meets Expertise
At Octily, collaboration is in our DNA. For eight years, we’ve teamed up with global consultancy leaders, industry specialists, and local boutique partners to maximize the value of Cornerstone OnDemand for our shared clients. This year, we took our Offsite to the next level by co-hosting it with talessio. Founded by Michael Mehl, talessio focuses on simplifying and transforming HR. They design, implement, integrate, and maintain HR platforms, ensuring that HR and IT departments work in harmony.
As translators and facilitators between HR and IT, talessio bridges both worlds, helping organizations achieve their goals through seamless digital transformation. This shared vision of digital HR innovation made them the perfect partner for the Octily × talessio Offsite.
Our joint mission? To blend implementation expertise with customized creativity, ensuring that clients get the best of both worlds.
Offsite Highlights: What Made Amsterdam So Special?
Hosted at the inspiring Creative Basement of The Met Hotel Amsterdam, this four-day event was packed with brainstorming, strategic workshops, and plenty of fun! Here’s what we achieved:
- “The Best of Both Worlds” in Action: Our joint initiative combines talessio’s deep knowledge of Cornerstone OnDemand implementations with Octily’s unique customizations, products, and templates. Together, we’re shaping a future where clients benefit from both technological expertise and creative brilliance, delivering fully personalized experiences on the Cornerstone platform.
- Creative Customizations and Strategic Services: Through focused workshops, we refined how Octily’s customizations seamlessly integrate with talessio’s implementation approach. The result? Actionable plans that will guide our next projects and make Cornerstone OnDemand even more aligned with our clients’ needs.
- A Unified Vision: The Offsite wasn’t just about working on current projects – it was about setting a roadmap for the future. We explored synergies between our teams and identified how to further enhance Cornerstone OnDemand experiences. By the end of the event, we had defined clear steps to continue our collaboration.
- Team Spirit and Fun: Beyond the strategy sessions, we indulged in Amsterdam’s rich culture (and endless servings of bitterballen!), bonded over early morning gym sessions, and tested our competitive edge with rounds of pool. These moments of connection were essential in fostering trust and collaboration across both teams.
